We have been working with an application called Scratch during our Technology time. Your son/daughter might like to practice using Scratch at home. Scratch is a free programming language that allows students to make stories, animations, games and more while learning mathematical ideas and how to think creatively. It was developed at the MIT media lab. Once the program is downloaded, students can work offline. The creations can be shared online if you choose to open a free account. You do not need to sign up if you will just be using the program offline.
